Programs are currently on Zoom, the Mt. Pleasant Library or outside. Links and information are emailed to members.
Future Meetings:As always, your program committee tries to schedule speakers, either in person or on Zoom, that meet the interests of Guild members.  To do this though, we need your input.  Please send us an email to [email protected] with ideas that you have about speakers and/or topics.  For future Zoom speakers, you could look at the offerings at Vogue Knitting Live in NYC (they have great descriptions of lectures and workshops and with Zoom we aren’t limited by their location!) or send us the name of a favorite knitter.  For our in person meetings, let us know if you know a local knitting professional who does speaking engagements.  We also need ideas for our Speed Knitting meeting in the spring, so let us know what techniques you are dying to learn or need a refresher on; our Guild is filled with great knitters and I know we can find folks that could teach you anything you’d like.  Please help us make the programs just what you’d hope they would be!

Nov 25 2024: 6:30 - 8:15 PM Zoom Jared Flood, Yarn Matters, a program that dives into all elements that make up our yarns (fiber, spinning preparation, yarn construction, dye processes, etc.) and how those go into making each of the yarns at Brooklyn Tweed unique.
Dec 16 2024: 1:30 - 4:30 PM Holiday Party at the Pleasantville Library.
