From Stephanie Etting, our March speaker, of VeryBusyMonkey: I have been designing knitting patterns since 2008, and it's not a job I ever would have thought I'd have. I happened upon it by accident, but I now have over 200 patterns - most of which are sock and shawl designs. My talk will focus on how I became a knitwear designer and how I typically go about my design process. I will also ​feature a few of my designs and talk more in depth about my inspirations, challenges, and results.
